VINIFICATION: The grapes are gently de-stemmed and pressed, then fermented in steel for 7-9 days with cultured yeasts at a controlled temperature of 28-32°C, with regular pumpovers and délestage. The wine is then pressed off and racked into steel tanks for malolactic fermentation and maturation

BOTTLE AGEING: 3-4 months
APPEARANCE: Ruby red with purplish highlights
BOUQUET: Fruity and refined, with aromas of blackberry and redcurrant
PALATE: Full-flavoured and emphatic
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Recommended with the region’s traditional dishes, excellent with fatty meats and stews, enhances Friulan recipes such as “Brovada col Muset” pork with turnips, “Jota” cabbage soup, lentil stew with boar sausage, and pheasant
